BUSINESS MUCH MORE VIBRANT

31.03.2015

The winter months showed much more interest and sales gained with the recession now behind us and period furniture once again more fashionable.  Since the last blog we have exhibited at Shepton Mallet three times, Westpoint near Exeter once and a fair at Ardingly near Gatwick in January.   Many new sales were achieved, particularly from the selection of treen now in stock.  At Westpoint we sold a very good quality Georgian tallboy, which attracted a tremendous amount of interest.  It is, however, smaller items of furniture mostly in stock, which a space can always be found in ones home for.

New additions to the website of late include a Regency dressing mirror and a George II Red Walnut Lowboy.  Many items of treen have been added recently including a yew wood lidded spice pot and a Scandinavian long handled ladle.  The site is updated regularly on a weekly basis, so it is well worth a visit.

On the homepage of the website under the special offer box tweets may be read.  All new stock is automatically tweeted.  Therefore, should you click on the code at the end of the tweet, the new item selected will come up.  It is a direct and easy way to view new stock added.

We shall be exhibiting at the Pannier Market, South Molton, Devon, on Sunday 19th April, followed by Ardingly near Gatwick from the 21st-22nd April.  In May we shall be back at Builth Wells, Wales from the 2nd- 3rd May and at Shepton Mallet in Mendip one from the 8th-10th May.  A good selection of furniture, treen and pictures will be as usual on display.  All fair dates are on the website under events.  We look forward to seeing you at the fairs should you decide to visit or in the gallery in Bideford should you be in Devon.
