Summer Good For Business

31.07.2014

Since the last blog in May we have exhibited at the Shepton Mallet Fair in our usual spot in Mendip One.  On display was our usual wide selection of furniture, pictures and treen.  Numerous sales were achieved including amongst the treen a long handled butter print and a few items of furniture found new homes including a George IV mahogany work table.  The previous weekend we exhibited at the Westpoint Fair, near Exeter, and a number of sales were also achieved including a good quality Edwardian display cabinet, which attracted much interest and a few would be purchasers were disappointed as they only found it after it was already sold shortly after the fair opened.

New additions on the website of late include a good quality early nineteenth century barometer by Schalfino of Taunton, an attractive nineteenth century Wedgwood tea service, and now sold pair of jardinieres.  It is well worth keeping an eye on the website as it is updated on a weekly basis.  The sold items archive is also becoming larger, so if you are looking for ideas and comparisons do take a look.

We shall be exhibiting at the Westonbirt Fair, near Tetbury, from the 15th to 17th August with a good selection of furniture, pictures and treen.  For the first time we shall also be exhibiting at the Builth Wells Fair in Wales from the 6th to 7th September.  We look forward to seeing you there or in our gallery in Bideford should you visit North Devon.
