S/311 Set of Six Single George III Mahogany Dining Chairs
The moulded and bowed rectangular backs, with foliate carved decoration to the top rails, each have tapered vertical conforming bars decorated with scratchstock lines, with the three inner supports having attractive deeply carved flutes to the tops.
The bow fronted overstuffed seats, finished in close nails, are raised on square tapered front legs with spade feet. The whole are of a pleasing colour, in good condition and retain a patination.
