S/2929 Antique Treen 19th Century Victorian Barnstaple Pine Measure
A small pine Victorian measure for grain or flour, stamped half pint with V.R. under a crown and numbered 219 for Barnstaple, initiated firstly in 1826. It has a nailed overlapping join in the traditional manner. The whole has a pale honey colour and good patination.
