S/3510 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Teacher's Pointing Stick
A mahogany teacher's pointing stick of tapering form, having a carved vegetable ivory end with bone inlay. These were used for instructing pupils in the classroom. The whole has a rich colour and patination.
