S/3745 Antique Treen 19th Century Carved Beech Knitting Sheath
An unusual carved beech knitting sheath, having a turned needle end above a square section with a circle inlaid with possibly bog oak. The remaining section is curved, carved, tapered and partially split for the cow band. The whole has a pale honey colour and retains a patination.
