S/4100 Antique Treen Boxwood H Comb of the Georgian Period
An extremely rare boxwood beautifully carved H comb cut and carved from a single piece of wood. It has grain running across and in the direction of fine and course teeth. The centre, carved as a love token, has circles, roundels, leaves and hearts with shaped ends. The whole is extremely fine and in original condition, retaining all its teeth. It has a lovely honey colour and good patination.
