Antique Furniture

When purchasing antique furniture the main criteria to consider are: the quality of wood used; the condition of the item; the amount of restoration; is the restoration detrimental or beneficial to its value; the quality of restoration; the period of the item; is it a later piece made in the style of a period piece; does the item have its original patination; and finally the price asked and is it affordable. If the item of furniture is in good condition, at the right price and is a quality piece of furniture, it will be a good purchase to add to your collection, and of course, you will not just own it, but be the custodian of it for many years.

All my stock is bought with condition, quality and price in mind, as well as all the above. I hope you enjoy looking at the pieces within this site and if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask.
