S/704 George II Mahogany Tea Table

The rectangular fold-over top, with protruding rounded corners, opens to reveal a polished interior, and when open is supported by one of the two back legs, which swings outwards. The interior has a protruding rounded area to each corner for candlesticks to be placed. The frieze has a single oak lined drawer fitted with an original brass bail handle.

The whole, raised on four circular tapered legs, terminating with pad feet, is a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
