S/478 Early Nineteenth Century Rosewood Tea Caddy
The angled hinged lid with a moulded raised rectangular platform top, is fitted with a lock and key, with a mother of pearl escutcheon, and opens to reveal an aperture for a glass blending bowl, with a rosewood lidded removable tea canister to each side.
The whole is raised on small squat bun feet and is a pleasing colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
