S/1073 18th Century Plumb Wood Gun Powder Flask
A fine early 18th century intricately chip carved plumb wood gun powder flask, with holes for a leather carrying handle, having a rich colour and fine patination.
Ex A.J. Levi Collection labelled number 314. A similar one is illustrated in 'Domestic Utensils and Wood ' by Evan-Thomas.
