S/1113 19th Century Burr Boxwood Nutcracker

A fine early 19th century burr boxwood screw type nutcracker of a good colour with a lovely patination and in fine condition.

A very similar one is illustrated in 'Treen for the Table' by Jonathan Levi on page 166.
