An oak whist or card box with four, two coloured scoring pegs and having a hand written history on the underside of the lid: 'Castle Hedingham Essex Oct. 9th. 1884 whist and card box, made by me in my eightyseventh year Josiah Glascock Pensioner of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.'
