S/1430 19th Century Coquilla Nut Snuff Box

A fine quality gentleman's coquilla nut snuff box, carved on the front with a gundog with its retrieve and on the reverse a ram with sheaves of wheat. The ends are carved with a rosette and a metal hinged lid opens to reveal the interior.

It is beautifully and intrically carved and has a lovely rich brown colour and patination and is in fine condition throughout.
