S/1527 Charles II Lignum Vitae Pestle and Mortar

An exceptionally fine Charles II lignum vitae pestle and mortar of sturdy construction, having a tapered body with ribbed turnings that compliments the base which is of a similar design.

The whole has an excellent colour and fine patination.
