S/1668 17th Century Lignum Vitae Wassail Bowl

A fine late 17th century lignum vitae wassail bowl, having a thin band of decoration above a concave moulding with a short stem and raised on an angled and concave foot with bands of decoration. The whole has a plumb brown colour and a good patination.
