S/1671 Welsh Fruitwood Love Spoon

A good example of a Welsh fruitwood love spoon, having a shaped chip carved handle with the initials A.P. behind a small glazed window and an open caged ball below. To the reverse it is indistinctly dated and the whole has a lovely rich colour, is in good condition and has a fine patination.
