S/1750 18th Century Lignum Vitae Skittle Cheese
A rare 18th century lignum vitae skittle chesse, which were used in some areas instead of a ball. This was bowled along a rock-maple floored alley in the game of skittles, which in the 14th century was called kayles in England and kyles in Scotland.
