S/1763 19th Century Large Mahogany Table Snuff Shoe

A fine quality large mahogany table snuff shoe, having most attractive pique decoration to the upper part and the sole. The head and toe has brass embellishments and in the middle of the sliding lid there is a plain cartouche. The whole is in good condition and has a lovely rich dark colour and patination.
