S/1825 19th Century Sycamore Shoe Horn

An unusual sycamore pistol grip shoe horn, having punched and diamond decoration and dated 1863 with initials of J.A. on the butt.

It has a pair of protruding carved scissors to the underside and is a lovely soft honey colour, retaining a patination.

(small spliced repair to the right edge of the blade)
