S/1861 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Snuff Shoe

A lovely small fruitwood snuff shoe of a life like design, having a protruding heal. The body and side hinged lid carved with leafage and flowers with a small silver inset plaque inscribed Jn'o (Jonathan) Hunter 1825. The whole is in fine condition, of a good rich colour and patination.
