S/1920 Antique Treen 19th Century Fisherman's Oak Line and Fly Box

A very interesting fly fisherman's circular oak line and fly box, having a divided interior. The well carved lid depicting an angler in a wooded landscape, fishing with a salmon on the line, a hut in the background and a moored boat. Inside was written on an historic piece of paper, 'C. P. J. Fishing near the hut by the (river) Mole, carved by Dr. Persy'.
