S/1925 Antique Treen 19th Century Cherry Wood String Barrel

A good quality barrel shaped cherry wood string barrel, having a fitted lid, the body with raised bands, and circular ring turnings to the top surrounding the brass collared aperture for the string. The whole has a lovely rich colour and patination.
