S/1943 Antique Treen Lignum Vitae Smokers Companion

An unusual lignum vitae smoker's companion, having a tobacco container with a removable lid. The inset china roundle, depicting a winged cherub, is raised on a turned support resting on a circular dished platform, that has a reeded surface and three cut out channels for pipes. The whole is well turned from heart wood and sap wood, and has an attractive colour retaining a patination.
