S/1981 Antique Treen 18th Century Lignum Vitae Pounce Pot

A fine mid 18th century lignum vitae pounce pot, having a top section that unscrews to reveal the base container, which is well turned with a bulbous centre and raised on a concave and spreading foot. The whole has a lovely rich colour and superb patination.
