S/2050 Antique Treen 19th Century Birch Washing Bat

A well carved love token in the form of a birch washing bat, having a heart within a heart initialled SPD and dated 1838. This is surrounded by a central flower head and foliage, all within a panelled chip carved border. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
