S/2048 Antique Treen 19th Century Lapland Burr Birch Love Spoon

An interesting small burr birch love spoon, from Lapland, having a shaped chip carved handle and pierced open heart. The cord is made from entwined reindeer hide, and is fastened with a coloured wool knot. The whole retains a patination.
