S/2146 Antique Treen 18th Century Churn

A very solid and interesting well used mid eighteenth century churn for agitating cream or milk to make butter, made from possibly oak. The interior has a rounded well centre and the circular body is slightly tapered with a recessed moulded band at the base. The whole has a mid brown mottled colour and patination.
