S/2161 Antique Treen 19th Century Lignum Vitae String Barrel

A good quality lignum vitae string barrel, having a well turned screw lid with moulded turnings. The whole is made from heart and sap wood, with a protruding rounded base, and is of a lovely colour and patination.
