S/2165 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Washing Bat

A lovely Welsh beech washing bat, having an incised wheel of fortune, also known as a daisy wheel or a Nex. It was considered a sign of good fortune, also to repel evil spirits. The whole has a good colour and patination.
