S/2329 Antique Treen 19th Century Pear Wood Folding Love Spoon

A rare folding pear wood love spoon, having a hinged handle which folds forward over the bowl and three carved stars within cirlces surrounded by fine chip carving. The lower portion is also finely chip carved. On the back of the top section it has a carved date of 1895. The whole retains a patination.
