S/2357 Antique Treen 19th Century Sycamore Butter Print
A well carved circular sycamore butter print, depicting a sunflower and leaves within a decorated border. It is suggested that the design of the print may provide a clue as to what type of farm the butter came from, hence a flower print, as in this instance, could be a flower farm with a meadow of wild flowers. The whole has a good honey colour and patination.
