S/2385 Antique Treen 19th Century Laburnum Spice Barrel

A well turned early 19th century turned laburnum spice barrel, having a screw top with two bone collars. It is threaded and separates in two sections for measuring and pouring. The body is extensively ribbed and is very pleasing to the eye. The whole has a lovely dark rich colour and patination.
