S/2398 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Lacemaker's Candle stand

A tactile Welsh lacemaker's candle stand made of beech. The sturdy circular base with ring turned decoration supports a turned column on which sits a dished circular platform for the candlestick. The whole has a lovely warm colour and patination.
