S/2404 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Pipe Tamper
A well carved Victorian mahogany pipe tamper in the shape of a shoe, similar in design to snuff shoes, but having an extended handle. The owners initials R.C. are carved on its top, and the end is charred, which is usual after being used. The whole retains a patination.
