S/2459 Antique Treen 19th Century Ebony Horse's Head Snuff Box

A rare and extremely good quality ebony horse's head snuff box, having bare teeth, blaze and outlined eyes and protruding ears. The swivel lid for snuff is on the underside. The whole is very well carved and of a lovely rich dark colour and patination.
