S/2475 Antique Treen 19th Century Lignum Vitae Salt

A most appealing small lignum vitae circular salt, having a shallow bowl raised on a small rounded foot. The whole has a lovely colour in heart and sap wood and retains a fine patination. It has a small patinated chip to its edge.
