S/2508 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Pen Box

An interesting Welsh chip carved beech pen box, having a rounded end that slides out and contains a brass ink pot with a further ink stained compartment for pens and pencils. There is an historic patch to the underside and a primative etched drawing of what appears to be two children within a decorative border on one side across the join. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
