S/2578 Antique Treen 19th Century Rosewood Snuff Shoe

A fine quality rosewood snuff shoe having a protruding heel. The shoe is covered with brass pique decoration with a crown on the toe and initials, C.B. and M.W., on the sliding lid. It was possibly made as a love token and has a lovely colour and good patination.
