S/2600 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Double Ended Mallet

A well used substantial boxwood double ended mallet, having incised ring turned decoration. The shaped handle has a ball finial and conforming turnings. The whole has a lovely pale honey colour and patination. It has two ancient chips to one end.
