S/2622 Antique Treen 19th Century Burr Ash Offertory Box

An unusual burr ash offertory box, having a long well turned handle. The box is partially enclosed at the top and has breakfront rounded sides with concave and convex moulded edges. It has ancient worm holes which are not active. The whole has a good pale honey colour and patination.
