S/2642 Antique Treen 18th Century or Early 19th Century Sycamore Flummery Mould
A late 18th or early 19th century circular sycamore flummery mould, having a pale honey colour and patination. Flummery is a recipe in 1769 containing bitter sweet almonds, rose water, calf foot stock all strained through muslin, then mixed with loaf sugar and thick cream. It is a good decorative mould of a most pleasing design.
