S/2654 Antique Treen 19th Century Rosewood Snuff Shoe

A delightful solid rosewood snuff shoe with a protruding heel and pique decoration, having a sliding lid that has a central pewter plaque, to coincide with the heel and toe which has pewter edging. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination. The toe is restored.
