S/2697 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Pipe Tamper

A beautifully chip carved boxwood pipe tamper in the shape of a shoe, having a protruding heal and incised line decoration. Note that even the heal has imitation nails. The whole has a lovely honey colour and good patination.
