S/2721 Antique Treen 19th Century Coquilla Nut Chalice

An unusual and extremely well carved 19th century sectioned coquilla nut chalice, carved with bands of flowers, swags and figs. On each side are a pair of open dragon handles, hung with later chains, and it is raised on a leaf carved circular base. The whole has a lovely honey colour and patination.
