S/2738 Antique Treen 18th Century Fruitwood Salt or Spice Bowl

A small fine early 18th century fruitwood salt or spice bowl, having extensive pole lathe turnings inside and out. The angled exterior has protruding beads down to the rim of the foot. The whole has excellent colour and patination and is slightly oval in shape.

It has a collector's label on the base: 15/5 and dated 21-07-77.
