S/2801 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood miser's snuff box

A lovely early 19th century octagonal fruitwood miser's snuff box, having a circular brass lid which revolves and reveals a single or double circular aperture. The base has a bone star which holds the pin, allowing the top to revolve. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
