S/2832 Antique Treen 19th Century Masur Birch Table Snuff Box

A good quality masur birch table snuff box, having a lid with a wooden hinge that opens to reveal a tortoiseshell lined interior in the traditional manner. It has the unusual feature of the ends being banded in a brass surround denoting quality. The whole has lovely figuring and a good colour retaining a patination.
