A pair of late Victorian fruitwood travelling candlesticks, known as Brighton Buns and also made in brass. Each candlestick unscrews and fits inside the circular base, which then screws together for travelling. On the exterior of one bowl is a worn transfer with indistinct writing and a view of a tower of the Brighton Pavillion. The whole has a good rich colour and original patination.
