S/2893 Antique Treen 19th Century Elm Chopping Board

A most interesting, well used and worn elm chopping and cutting board of substantial proportions, having a central storage space for a kitchen knife. The reverse side must have been used as a chopping board, as there are many deep historic cuts and marks. The whole is a lovely rustic item from a country house kitchen and retains a patination.
